Trevor-Wilmot Consolidated PTO

Working together to build strong foundations

September Happenings!

  1. Vicki Fraley announced her resignation from the Presidency. Karen Gerold stepped up to the Presidency from her position as Vice President. Nominations were taken to fill the Vice President position, but there were none at this time. Nominations are still being accepted. The Election for Vice President will take place at the October 5th meeting.
  2. The Welcome Back Bash was determined to be a success. A good time was had by all!
  3. The book fairs, Spooktacular Cake Walk, and fall fundraiser were discussed. If each child sells just 5 pizza kits, the school will make $12,500.00!
  4. Market Day made $198.35 this year to date.
  5. Carrie Knipp gave a fabulous presentation with her plan for this year’s auction which is set to take place Saturday, March 6th, 2010. The plan was approved and everyone was excited about the event. This year’s auction will be held at Strawberry Creek off of Highway 50. The price will remain at $20.00 per person.
  6. A small group was set up to make a PTO directory. Permission to include your child in the directory will be obtained prior to the inclusion of your child in the document.
  7. Volunteers are still needed for several events and procedures. Anyone can volunteer on line at www.twcpto.org

THANK YOU!

The PTO would like to thank everyone for coming to our first Welcome Back Bash and Stuff the Bus! Your participation and enjoyment made the event worth while! And, your generous food donations were very much appreciated by the Sharing Center’s staff and the families they serve. We would also like to thank the Trevor and Wilmot Fire Departments for bringing the smoke house and their equipment and for making a bazillion snow cones all evening; the Kenosha County Sheriff’s K-9 unit for their educational demonstration; Deb Goshinski, head of our custodial staff, and her crew for their help with the set up and clean up. We’d also like to thank the following volunteers who took time out of their schedules to help that night: Amy Byfield, Ruthann Alter, Kelly Backe, Lisa Sanchez, Kathy Baum, Kelley Merkle, Eileen Hebior, Darlene Lasch, Kathleen Camp, Dawn Filiatreault, Linda Lazono, Carrie Knipp, Jennifer Myra, Elizabeth Rendon, Jenny Loveless, Rhonda Mesnard, and Julie Barrettsmith.
